For 26 years, the Saskatoon Poppy Fund has supported Sherbrooke’s Veterans Village with enhancements, equipment needs, and involvement in the life of our home. 

Supporting quality of life for men and women who served our country

Money collected through Poppy Fund campaigns is directed for veterans in the community. The men and women who represent the Poppy Fund go the extra mile to ensure that veterans have the equipment they need for their comfort and safety. Funds are raised annually and stay in the community. The generous support we have received supports projects that enhance quality of life for those men and women who fought so bravely for Canada’s freedom.

Providing transportation, mobility, and a sense of home

Thanks to the generosity of the Poppy Trustees, we have accepted over $600,000 over the years, funding a bus, ceiling track lifts, and kitchen renovations. Sherbrooke’s veterans, Elders, families, staff, and board all appreciate their longstanding generosity.
