I thought our province funds long-term care. Why does your organization need donations?
Our two homes are affiliated with the provincial health authority; however, our Foundation exists to provide funding support above and beyond what is provided by the province.
Sherbrooke Foundation is funded through philanthropic contributions from donations, legacy gifts, endowments, grants, and social purpose revenue. We work closely with donors who appreciate the culture and care in our homes and share our positive vision for long-term care.
Thanks to your donations, Sherbrooke Foundation supports enhancements to our homes, furnishings, equipment, therapies, and vibrant recreational programs for residents.
